This may seem obvious, but many MSPs have a tendency to throw a project at an engineer and let them run with it. There may be no formalised internal process, no proper planning phase and a woolly quote that is open to too much interpretation.
Enosys was founded by engineers who have spent a lot of time working on projects from end to end, so we’ve seen what a good project looks like, as well as a bad one.

Many MSPs will tell you what you want to hear: “No downtime, no problem.” Then the project starts and you find out that everyone needs to log out for an hour, or the internet is being disconnected and no one will be able to work from the office.
As engineers, we’ve been the ones who have had to deliver the news that no one wants to hear. By this point, your account manager may have already promised you the world, so we feel like the bad guys.
We also understand that although disruption is not desirable, when a business knows what’s going to happen, it can plan around it. That hour of logout time can be scheduled over lunch, and key staff can work from home when the office internet is down.
Projects go better when we all have time to plan, so our team will always tell you what to expect and when. This allows you to prepare your business and keep the real disruption to a minimum.
